Course Description
This course introduces the theory and aspects of commercial refrigeration equipment operation.

Member must have taken HVAC Systems 1, HVAC Systems 2 and hold an EPA 608 Universal certificate to attend.

Low, medium and high temperature equipment applications will be explained using electrical schematics and system diagrams. This is a lab focused course allowing students to assemble basic refrigeration system components to complete a working system and practice skills necessary to perform preventative and predictive maintenance on these systems.

Drone Level 1
Dates: November 09, 2026 - November 13, 2026

Course Description
Drone Level 1 - This course is designed to provide the knowledge needed to obtain an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. Each student will gain an understanding of FAA Part 107 regulations and testing procedures. Topics covered will include: FAA Regulations, understanding aeronautical weather reports, airport operations, air space classifications, and interpreting sectional charts. Numerous example questions will be discussed, along with basic flight procedures, and processing options for gathered flight data.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this course, student will be able to:
Pass the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Exam.
Identify different types of drone missions used for construction.
Understand the options for Processing Data as used for the construction trade.
If time and weather allow, activities will include basic flight(s) at the training center.
