It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear brother, Buddy. We continue to lift his beloved wife, Gwen, up in our prayers as she mourns the loss of her husband and best friend.

Dec. 7th marked the 50th anniversary of the church’s first service on this property several months after it had been birthed. It was wonderful to have the Georgia District Assemblies of God Superintendent John Dougherty and Secretary/Treasurer Jack Moon join us as we praised God for this amazing milestone. Thank you to all who came out to celebrate with us. As Mr. Superintendent John Dougherty shared in his message, God has great plans for Alive and we’re excited to see them come to fruition.

Alive Church appreciates EVERY member no matter how long they serve with us. Recently we were able to celebrate and pray over some pretty amazing people. Ed Knight has attended and served at this church for 40 years! What a testimony of faithfulness! Mark and Angelica Thompson have only been with us for 22 months, serving when they could as they balanced a military schedule and raising two young boys. Their time at Ft. Stewart is up and they have moved to their next duty station. We are grateful for every worker the Lord brings to help with the harvest.

Thank you to everyone who came out for our 2nd Annual Fall Festival! We had a great group of vendors on hand and lots of volunteers to help as we connected with our community and even offered free lunch and ladies clothing all through donations.
