Qualifications:
- LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, or LPC
- Experience providing therapy to adults, teens, and/or children impacted by domestic violence and/or sexual assault
- Knowledge of trauma-informed modalities (CPT, CBT, Somatic Therapy, CCTP)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for advocacy and empowering survivors

For many survivors, a pet is more than an animal; they are family, a source of comfort, love, and unwavering support. 💜🐾

HAVEN’s Farber Family Pet Center allows most pets to stay with survivors during shelter stays, helping preserve the human-animal bond while reducing barriers to seeking safety.

Because no one should have to choose between protecting themselves and leaving behind the companion who has helped them through their hardest moments. Together, we make safety possible for survivors and the pets they love. 🐾💜

After sexual assault, compassionate and immediate care can make a meaningful difference. Through the START Program, survivors receive sexual assault forensic examinations, medical care, and emotional support from trained professionals who understand trauma and provide care with compassion.

The cost to provide this specialized care is $1,189 per survivor.

Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of welcoming RDMA to volunteer in our Meditation Garden! 🌿💜

Their hard work and generosity helped care for a special place of peace, healing, and reflection for the survivors we serve, as well as a space where our dedicated staff can recharge and find moments of calm.
