So glad to support ArtFishFun and meet/greet families with the tutoring, nutrition and enrichment services that Bound Together offers again come September! Thank you to the moms, dads, and grandparents that took a minute in the midst of ice cream and face painting to talk about their achievement goals for their kids - and seeing our friends from Pontiac Library, Oakland County 4-H, OUCARES plus connecting with organizations like Oakland Forward made it the perfect way to spend an early summer afternoon!🍨

The Bound Together Benefit 2026 - what an afternoon! The Crofoot Ballroom pulled out all of the stops, as did The Honorable Mayor Michael McGuinness as our peerless emcee and auctioneer. We had a standing-room-only crowd that chatted, laughed, bid(!), sang along and hopefully enjoyed an event that was, in fact, a celebration of their generosity, kindness, and belief in the power of the caring community that BT creates anew each program year. While FB won't let me write a novel: please know that every one of you who donated, attended, supported, hustled and/or encouraged is written directly onto our hearts. Thanks, so very much, to everyone who says "yes" to our kids.❤

The Pontiac Arts Crawl may be over for now, but the warm memories linger! Sincere thanks to our friends at Pontiac Creative Arts Center who got Bound Together involved, and to Mayor Mike who stopped in to see us each week - just wanted to share some pictures of our mask-making and our affirmations jars! We got to know so many new friends, and we hope that the art created around well-being and emotional health continues to feed kids and adults alike. And we don't have to wait until the next Arts Crawl - come and see us at Bound Together if you'd like to volunteer, or if you know a Pontiac resident in grades 1-8 who could join our after-school learning community come September!❤ https://boundtogetherpontiac.squarespace.com/

Bound Together's program for 25-26 went out with a flourish at our End of the Year Party! Our families, volunteers, and guests from Pontiac Promise Zone and PEACE Academy plus Consumers Energy gathered around art and Mother's Day flowers, cashing out the Bank of Bound Together, celebrating LEXIA reading awards with Dr. Ashelin Currie from Oakland Schools, and having one last visit around pizza and ice cream sammies before summer (with planning for 2026-27 well underway!) Thank you to everyone who makes the learning, the smiles and the community possible.📚

Bound Together has been thrilled to be a part of the Pontiac Arts Crawl - we took the worry dolls out for a stroll last Friday and connected with families and fabulous makers of all ages, as no one is too young (or too old) to have a friend to whisper their anxieties to. Sincere thanks to Dr. Krystal and her amazing team at Herbal Touch for hosting us, and to the kids and grown-ups that embraced the project, shared their stories and built a little bit of community on Saginaw Street.❤

FunDay Monday was a brisk stroll over to Pontiac Creative Arts Center, where our young art appreciators took in the Oakland Community College art installation. Ms. Melinda gave a terrific guided tour of the various media, with each student choosing their favorite work and discussing the "why?" around that - there were ideas, opinions, and agreement that art makes us see and feel in some pretty awesome ways. (Thank you, Ms. Melinda!❤)

The Bound Together Benefit is back! So thrilled to be at The Crofoot Ballroom once again on May 31, and to let everyone know that those tickets go on sale tomorrow (or, okay, maybe a few hours earlier if you scan that QR.) Call us, email, hit that website - but do plan to join us for a great afternoon - and thank you!❤
