This year, Pro-Seal employees participated in adopt-a-family to help make Christmas special for a local family in need. Special thank you to Lighthouse of Oakland County for organizing this annual event!

Merry Christmas from Pro-Seal Service Group! Tonight we had our annual Christmas party where a few “ugly” sweaters made their appearance.

This week our 2018 Winter Sales Meeting was held in our Pontiac office. This annual meeting gives us an opportunity to get together and reflect on the past year, gear up for the next, hear informative presentations from our team, and of course make time for a little fun as well.

This years theme, “Sharpen Your Axe” was held true with a team building event of fowling (football bowling) and axe throwing.

Today we honor those who have faithfully served our country, thank you for your service and sacrifice.

A collaborative effort between Pro-Seal Service Group of Pontiac, MI, and Kenai, AK, and Sunair Co. of Willow Grove, PA, along with our partners Aesseal Inc and Calumet/Royal Purple resulted in a successful mechanical seal and barrier fluid upgrade to a critical service pipeline/shipping pump this past week.

The "Upgrade" mission was to improve the operational reliability of the pump seal and barrier system with an AES "High Pressure" model HPVD-XD dual pressurized mechanical seal in conjunction with Calumet Royal Purple Barrier Fluid.

To provide the proper environment for the double mechanical seals, Royal Purple's super clean and very stable Barrier Fluid FDA 22 was utilized. The Barrier fluid was delivered to the HPVD-XD seals via an API Plan 53B support system at approximately 1450 psi. The startup was flawless and the seals are operating as designed.

Today our Michigan Pro-Seal team went on a “Grand Tour of Alaska” in our training room from our President, Bruce McCartney. He and his wife Carol recently returned from a trip to The Last Frontier including a two day visit with our branch in Kenai, Alaska.

Thank you Bruce and Carol for sharing lunch, pictures and stories of your trip! We're glad to have you both back in The Mitten.

While at the EPRI, Fossil Pump Users Group Conference in Charlotte this week, Our Bruce Mccartney of ProSeal, [behind the table] shakes hands with Robert Morgenstern of ProPump Svcs.

Between the two of them they have 80+ years’ experience in “High Energy Rotating Equipment.” Bruce reports It was a profitable time listening to presenters and sharing experiences in the “Fossil Fuel” pump world. Everything from Slurry pumps to High Energy Pumps.
