At some point you’re going to have to be aware of what you bring to the table and be careful of where you pull up a chair.

Just walk away in silence.

Today, I pause with gratitude and humility.

This year marks 28 years in law enforcement and 30 years of service connected to the Pontiac School District. Three decades of showing up, learning, falling forward, standing back up, and staying committed to people and purpose.

To the young people reading this and watching , START EARLY. Don’t rush the process, but don’t waste time either.

When you give your best years to service, learning, and growth, something powerful happens, by the time you reach midlife, you’re not worn out… you’re wiser.

You’ve learned from mistakes, sharpened your discernment, and gained the clarity that only experience can give. And the best part? You still have more to give.

At 51 years young, I’m grateful. Grateful for the lessons, the scars, the victories, and the opportunities to continue serving in the capacities

God has blessed me with. I get to see the progression of a vision that started years ago—and I’m still building.

Purpose doesn’t expire. Service doesn’t age out.
You don’t slow down, you level up.

To everyone walking their own process: stay consistent, stay humble, and keep trusting the journey.

Still serving. Still learning. Still building.
