There’s just something about seeing fresh hay baled in the field that never gets old. The smell of cut hay, the rows stretching across the pasture, and the reminder that hard work is paying off—it’s a beautiful sight. Not everyone sees the beauty in a hay field, but around here, it’s a picture of dedication, provision, and the blessings God gives us through the work of our hands.
The Canadian geese are making their rounds over the hay fields today. There’s something peaceful about looking up from the day’s work and watching them fly in formation across the sky.

🫐 Apparently, Kollin thought blueberry picking was an all-you-can-eat buffet. 😂 I’m pretty sure more blueberries made it into his belly than into the bucket! Every time I looked over, he was “taste-testing” another one to make sure they were good. Quality control is a very important job, after all.

When you accidentally make the same face as this Olive Egger… 😂🐔

Just a boy and a rooster… and maybe a little bit of fear. Kollin’s face says he’s not quite sure about this White Amber Link rooster, and honestly, we can’t stop laughing. Farm life keeps things interesting, especially when the chickens have personalities of their own!
