I'm so exhausted from this weekend, but I wanted something sweet and low effort. Brownies ended up being the winner and they are sooo good! Dense, fudgy, and crispy on top. Homemade brownies will deff be on the menu after the batch I just made!

Phase 1 is COMPLETE!!!

Oh my gosh yall I cannot begin to explain how EXCITED I am to have a physical stand now🥹 We (my dad, brothers and husband) put so much work into it yesterday in the blazing hot sun. All she needs now is some wood putty, sanding, and a coat of paint!

One step closer to the finish line✨️

Counting down the days until Saturday is here!!

Saturday starts the official process of us building my little porch stand, aka my dad and brothers while I TRY and help. I cannot tell yall how anxious and excited I am. The finish line is getting closer 😬

✨️Progress✨️

Happy Fridayyyy, we made it (just barely)!

I hope everyone is safe and the flooding goes down soon. I had some downtime and finally got my filling the way I want it. Making a brown butter filling wasn't on my to-do list but LORD is it good. Also big shoutout to my SIL, the tiny plate was perfect to display this on😂

Nothing screams "I should make banana bread" more than the 3 forgotten bananas left in your fruit bowl. It also gave me the opportunity to try out my new pans!

These mini loaves of Cinnamon Crunch Banana Bread are a perfect snack to the end weekend with.

These will deff be on the porch stand once I open, along with some other flavors. More to come😉

✨️Trial and Error✨️

I attempted to make some oatmeal cream pies this morning because why not? The recipe for the cookies turned out great, but the filling needs improvement BAD. There were 2 different filling recipes I tried: the white one was more of a cream based, and the pink one a marshmallow fluff.

While the marshmallow fluff cream worked out to be the more stable option, I failed to get the filling ratio correct. ALSO, I found that I like the dough to be completely thawed before baking. The thinner spread cookie works better in the long run.

Taking this as a learning experience and trying not to rip my hair out. I'll get it right next time but dang I'm annoyed 😅

✨️Success✨️

Tried a new recipe this morning and UGHH, it's so good. Chocolate toffee cookies with extra toffee bits on top.

It's thin, crispy crunchy, and the perfect amount of chewy. Definitely a new fav💜

Hey there!

I finally made a page for my lil baking venture!! Periodically, I will keep yall posted on what I'm baking, new ideas I have, and the porch stand building process (date scheduled on the 28th🤞🏻). Once I get the bakery stand up and running I will post that here too.
