After 40 years, I sold the studio on September 27. Thought it would be a good time to ride off in the sunset.

We have been Broward Counties largest & finest facility for 40 years. Through out the years we have adapted to the ever changing times and provide high quality recording services not available at the project studios found in every musician's garage & back room.

Our Ross Alexander / Synergetics designed 4,500 sq foot Pompano Facility was build from the ground up in 1993 with 2 Control rooms, 4 Iso booths, Musicians lounge, Extensive microphone selection, Vintage OutBoard Gear, Grand Piano, Clapton/Terry Leslie, Classic Fender Rhodes 77, ProTools HD system and studio kit.

Studio A is the place to record your Rhythm tracks, horn/string section, choir, 5.1mix , 2 mix & Master. A FCP rig is available for DVD authoring.

A Personal note from Jim:

On August 14 , 2023 begin's Jim's 40th year running Spectrum Recording Studios. Except for a few minor bumps in the road it has been a productive and interesting experience. Thanks to Michael Grosso, Zach Ziskin, Robert Labeskis, Marie Nofsinger, Rick Krive, Chris Monteleone, Alain Leroux, Charles Calello, David Lucas, Jerry Wexler, Danny J Kirsic and all the countless musicians / producers / singers / arrangers that have graced this facility over the years. The chance to write music for Parry / ABACO / Sonic Quiver music libraries over the years has helped me kept the studio a viable facility even in these difficult economic times. Life goes on.

I could not resist getting this historic authentic signed album. Another big thanks to brother Ken for the fine addition to the Wall Of Fame at Spectrum Recording Studios.
Met Eddie Kramer at an AES show in NY many years ago and was handed the original 1/2 mix of this album. There was a Studer 2 track which I threaded & played various alt takes of tracks we all knew well.

Our Vintage M49 has returned from the Mic Shop in Nashvegas ready to roll. New tube, power supply and upgraded connectors. Our AKG C12 & U47 also went through a reconditioning. Being semi retired I’ve been hiding in North Carolina for the past five weeks.
Zach is holding down the fort , I’ll return June 5 for the entire summer.
