This was done on-the-fly moments after show ended and the crowd was still shuffling out on a FRIGID December night in Philly. Cindy quickly arranged everyone on Paul's request and we just quickly ripped off 3 different shots.

Still, I'll always treasure this shot and of course wanted to share it with you all. It's raw and unpolished and it's rock and roll and a moment in time, to me. ❤️

"We hope to see you again sometime..." 💔

This was the last moment I ever saw Rush on stage, and I surely thought it was the last time I ever would. Forty-some shows over thirty-some years, and no complaints it was a really great run.

But somehow, some way the stars aligned and in just two more days, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson & (a new) Company will take the stage again to perform the music of Rush.

I won't see the show myself until later this year and I have no idea what to expect. If you're going to LA next week, I hope the magic returns for you all again. 🙏

Since John Bonham's untimely death in 1980, only a few drummers have brought a faithful recreation of his live performances to a big stage.

Enter Los Angeles native Derek Smith, who now sits on the throne once occupied by the legendary Adam Ferraioli.

I can hardly think of anyone more worthy of continuing the legacy of both of these amazing drummers.

Fun fact: Page actually makes a few mistakes in the album version of "South Bound Saurez", but being a player that always prized spontaneity over perfection he left them in.

Also, the song's name on record is actually due to a printing error. It was supposed to be spelled "Suarez". Hmm... 🤔
