Organized Crime 9.3: We focused on one specific story, revolving around single central character. Here is recap from Claude. We went through notes, photoroll, and dozens of AI apps to pull notes into singular thread
Here’s the recap:
Over this session, we processed a large, scattered data drop pulled from scouting notes across two ChatGPT accounts and Grok — dozens of fragments on Rockjaw and Fraud Fire Fair that had been sitting disorganized across those sources. Rather than working piecemeal, we ran the whole batch through in a holding pattern, letting entries stack until we had enough to consolidate into a single coherent reference: Rockjaw’s full physical description across three life-stages, his 1730–1901 timeline, his Mixtec/Mitla-GLC lineage, and the FFF story structure (3 eras × 8 stories, full-moon prophecy spine, romance layer, cover art). What started as loose notes became a working character bible and floorplan in one pass — a genuine unit of the “50-100 clean folders” goal rather than just more raw material added to the pile.
Just as important, this drop clarified how FFF locks into the wider Books of Chi architecture rather than standing alone. We nailed down the King’s Cannon and Mechanism as a consistent cross-volume technology — its origin in SOS (Silver Forest, the Beacon’s completion around -920 SOS-time), its breakdown through the Atlantis-Tambora shockwave and the 1871/1893 Chicago events, and its role as the throughline connecting SOS’s ancient tribal era to FFF’s Dunning-asylum present. We also locked the handoff into Manifest Destiny — Rockjaw’s death at 725 S. Loomis feeding directly into MD’s opening whirlwind, and Nina carrying his transcribed story (and unborn twins) forward as the bridge character between volumes. That’s the real win of this session: not just organizing what exists, but confirming FFF’s place as connective tissue in the seven-volume structure, with clear gaps flagged (RJ’s dialogue voice, antagonist personification,

Send Palm Aire some love. Tell the commission how you feel about it
Good evening, 🌴Palm Aire! ⛳️
Pay attention! This is super important to understand:
Florida’s new Infill Redevelopment Act, Chapter 2026-84, may be relevant to the ongoing fight over development in Palm Aire—but it is not a blank check for development and it DOES NOT automatically decide the lawsuit.
The law applies only to a narrowly defined “qualifying parcel.” To qualify, land generally must be at least five acres, be environmentally impacted as defined by the law, and be adjacent to property zoned for residential use as of right. The developer bears the burden of establishing that the property meets those legal requirements.
What the Law COULD Do
If a parcel qualifies, the state law can override local regulations that would prohibit or limit residential development allowed by the Act. It also requires qualifying applications to be handled administratively rather than through a discretionary vote of the City Commission.
BUT THE LAW STILL LIMITS DENSITY. A qualifying project may not exceed the lower of 25 units per acre or the average density of adjacent residential zoning districts that allow housing as of right. Development intensity must also comply with standards applicable to adjacent property.
What the Law Does Not Do
This law does not automatically:
• Establish that the Oaks or any other Palm Aire land is a qualifying parcel
• Approve a particular site plan, building height, or number of units
• Eliminate concurrency, infrastructure, drainage, traffic, or subdivision requirements
• Remove all legal arguments arising from Palm Aire’s history, agreements, approvals, or property rights
• Prevent residents from scrutinizing the facts, participating, and demanding that every requirement be enforced.
Special Protections for Recreation Land
The Act includes specific requirements when recreational facilities or recreation-reserved land are involved and are surrounded by single-family homes. The developer may have to prove that the facilities have been unused for at least 12 consecutive months, pay double parks-and-recreation impact fees, and provide certified-mail notice to adjoining property owners.
In that situation, adjacent owners may have a 90-day opportunity to purchase the recreation portion for preservation as open space or recreation, subject to a 30-year restriction.
Why Details Matter
The outcome will depend on evidence—not slogans. Key questions include:
• Does the property truly meet the law’s environmental-impact definition?
• Is it at least five acres and legally adjacent to qualifying residential zoning?
• What density calculation applies under the statute?
• Are there golf-course or recreational-land protections that must be followed?
• Are all infrastructure, drainage, traffic, and concurrency requirements being met?
• What separate legal protections or obligations may still apply to Palm Aire?
Palm Aire residents should remain engaged, ask for documents and evidence, follow the court case closely, and insist that Pompano Beach and any developer comply fully with every applicable state and local requirement. This law may change the legal landscape, but it does not end the community’s right to be informed, organized, and heard.
EYES ON THE PRIZE, Palm Aire!
