Expansion joints are a critical component of any structure, requiring regular maintenance to ensure their proper function. Failure of these joints can lead to water intrusion, which can cause the concrete to deteriorate, become brittle, and crack. This not only allows water to reach the steel components within the structure, causing expansion and spalling of the concrete, but also compromises the integrity of the entire structure. Regular inspection and maintenance of expansion joints are essential to prevent these issues and to maintain the longevity and safety of the building.

Have you noticed that your AC isn't cooling your home as efficiently as it should? One common issue is that cooled air might be unintentionally escaping into the attic. This reduces the amount of cooled air reaching specific areas, such as your bedrooms, causing them to be warmer than the rest of the house. Ensuring that your attic is properly insulated and that the AC ducts are sealed can help prevent this issue, allowing your AC to cool your home more effectively. Additionally, improperly sealed ducts can lead to condensation, which can cause water damage and mold. Taking these steps not only improves cooling efficiency but also protects your home from potential damage.
