What an amazing day. None of us on the design team anticipated the HUUUGE turnout from the public for this event. Thousands came and they just kept coming. Everyone had smiles on their faces from toddlers to senior citizens. Thank you Washington City! This project was certainly a highlight of my career 🙏😎🛹

Here are a couple of recent renderings I did on top of aerial photographs. I've tried this in the past, but never really liked how the renderings read. I'm starting to learn some fun techniques to help them read better and convey my concept. I whited out the names of these projects and clients, because these projects are not yet public. The park project is pretty cool, because it is located in the desert southwest and doesn't have any grass at all. Actually, neither of these projects have irrigated grass. We are in the middle of an awful drought out west. Users will definitely have to wear shoes :-)

I can’t wait for the public to see this incredible wheels park on steroids. There is also a beautiful splash pad with a river, an all-access playground, ninja course, 40-yard dash, picnic areas, and views 😎🛹🚲👍

Construction continues on the new Washington Wheels Park and the progress is definitely noticeable. Thank you to our residents for staying out of the construction site! We get it, everyone is excited for what’s to come. Don’t worry, your patience will pay off and we’ll all be biking and skating before Christmas!

You know you’re getting old when the first park you designed gets a make over 🥲🤣 My first professional job out of college was with St. George City, Utah as their first park planner. I LOVED that job.
