The official statement from your Bannock County Democratic candidates regarding the recent attack on Rep. Manwaring and his campaign.

“We strongly condemn the defacing of Representative Manwaring’s billboard with the threat of violence. All citizens must condemn theses reprehensible acts and call on everyone participating in this election – especially the candidates and their supporters, to do the same. As Bannock County citizens first, we cannot emphasize enough our shock and outrage at this act of violence.

This is a matter of respect, kindness, and decency — let’s set a better example for the future, folks.
