It all began when Terry got curious about wood-fired ovens and pizzas. This flamed into a passion and is now an obsession. Family and friends came along beside him, and it's our desire to bring you some of the best pizza around, as well as a really fun time. Our hope, through Red Rover Pizza, is to provide a unique catering experience by delivering an authentic Neopolitan style, wood-fired pizzeri
a to you. Our focus is on giving you the best pizza we can. Because of the nature of our process, we cannot do banquets, or offer an event where everyone would sit down and eat at the same time (think big wedding). We are perfect for lots of mixing and mingling and people eating casually. Since our wood fired pizzas are made to order, the pizza will never get cold, waiting to be eaten. Think of us for your backyard wedding, graduation party, birthday, office party or corporate event (on or off site), or family reunion. Ideally, our events are outdoors, since our oven remains outside. We are able to operate year-round, and can still cook and serve (in a light) rain or sunshine. HOW AN EVENT WORKS
Prior to your event, the pizza dough will be made from scratch. Fresh
ingredients will be purchased for your toppings. About 90 minutes before
your event, we’ll arrive to position the trailer and get the fire blazing in the oven. This gives us plenty of time to set up our other equipment, which includes refrigeration of our food, for safe and sanitary preparation. We can either prepare each pizza to order, or we can rotate through a previously agreed upon selection of pizzas, and serve them by the slice. Each pizza is baked in our wood-fired oven for approximately 90 seconds. Due to the unique nature of what we do, we always get plenty of questions about our oven and how it works—we love talking with you and your guests during an event! When we’re finished serving, we’ll discreetly break down our equipment, so that there’s minimal disruption to your event, hook up our trailer and pull away. Red Rover Pizza believes in quality and freshness. We make our dough from scratch in a commercial kitchen. Our pizzas would be considered a light meal, but we offer some pizzas as appetizers, as well as dessert pizzas. Feel free to supplement with your own garden fresh salad.
