Our teams recently gathered at Geneva National for education and our summer meeting, including company updates from Brian and Craig and an educational session led by EOS Implementer David Bowman. From there, it was all putts for glory on the Dance Floor.

Welter's Folly at Journeyman Distillery is the largest public putting course in the US at 30,000 sq ft, designed for avid golfers, kids, families, and distillery guests who know a good time when they see one.
Author of The Art of Golf (1887), Sir Walter Simpson once said: "Unlike the other Scottish game of whiskey-drinking, excess in golf is not injurious to the health." At Welter's Folly, you're invited to partake in both. 🥃⛳️

This is what transformation looks like. Canyon 7 at Trappers Turn has always been the signature hole. Following a renovation led by Craig Haltom/Andy North and executed by Oliphant Golf Construction, it's now something else entirely — sandstone canyon walls exposed with water feature, green complex doubled in size (nearly 6,000 sq ft), a new bunker, and the proper airflow the turf needed.
As Craig put it, "It now looks like you're playing into a box canyon, which is really something special." We couldn't agree more. Get out there and see it for yourself.

It’s hard to beat a holiday weekend playing 18 holes with your favorite people! Wherever you're celebrating the 4th - we hope the fairways are firm, the greens are fast, and the company is even better. Happy Independence Day and 250 years of freedom from our team to yours!

Happy heavenly birthday, Old Tom Morris - golf's first great architect, four-time Open Champion, and the man who literally shaped the game we love.
You'll find Old Tom in our logo, with cap, beard, and clubs in hand. His silhouette represents what we bring to every course: vision, craftsmanship, deep respect for the game, and a builder's instinct.
Here's to the Grand Old Man of Golf. May every course built in his spirit be worth the walk!

Last week's CMAA Communications Summit in Nashville brought together more than 150 industry professionals for education, idea sharing, and genuine connections. 💡 Leadership, First Impressions, Branding, and Tech Innovations were just a few of the topics covered, and each uniquely touches all departments in golf operations. Our Marketing Director, Rochelle, attended the 4-day conference, coming home with fresh ideas and tangible insights to help improve communications for our clients and on-site teams. We can't thank the CMAA enough for putting together this inspiring event, and a special thank you to Belle Meade, Richland, and Hillwood Country Clubs (and John Daly's!) for their Southern hospitality! 🪕
