I just finished my first unit! I did my own take on the Celestial Vindicators scheme and I'm happy with how it turned out. Always tweaks to make, but glad these guys are done! Head swaps from Puppets War .

Finished my first this evening. I got so excited that it was basing time (it was not yet) that I forgot to varnish everything first. I'll hit the model and rim with a matte varnish tomorrow to kill the wash shine and we're done!

I wanted the story to be that a Khorne priest dragged a body up the stairs, sacrificed it, and then stepped forward to stare out at the battlefield (hence the boot-like blood pools). I figured since the altar has all those sharp blades, stuff probably ran into it at some point, so I blew off an old brush for some splatter effects.
