Coach Katie McAlister trains exclusively with our Beach Bums athletes on Mondays and Wednesdays — but this summer, we’re opening up her court to YOU.

If you’ve watched her work and wondered what it’s like to get reps with a D1-level mind on the sand, now’s your chance. Katie is hosting 3 Friday Skills Clinics this summer — hitting & defense, setting & hitting, and blocking & defense — broken down the way only she can teach it.

These spots are limited. Don’t miss your window to train with one of the best.

Signing up ahead of time lets players know and make sure there are enough players to run a game or let you know if that day is too full to save on a long trip to the gym! You can also invite your friends to join easily and see everyone signed up! You can sign up for open play on our website!

Katie McAlister brings fresh D1 collegiate pedigree to our coaching staff. A 2-year team captain at the University of Utah, Katie just wrapped up her career this year at Loyola Marymount University, where she helped lead the Lions to a 7th place finish at NCAA Nationals in Gulf Shores 🌴🏐

A 2026 WCC Champion and 2x WCC Pair of the Week, Katie has played every position at the collegiate level — giving her a rare, complete understanding of what it takes to compete, get recruited, and dominate at the highest level of the sport.

Beach Box keeps leveling up, and Katie is proof of that. We are beyond grateful to keep bringing in high-level coaches who are just as committed to growing this game and developing the next wave of athletes 🙌🏼🔥
