Yay! It's Parade Day!

We can't wait to see you along Loyola Boulevard! Happy Fourth of July!!

Parade details:

The parade starts at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 4th down Loyola Blvd. from Manchester Ave. to LMU.

Some things to know:
📍It's a scaled down parade this year. After getting approval to hold this neighborhood tradition, the Parade Committee had to quickly pivot to put this event on and coordinate with all of its entries--cramming what would normally be six months of planning into a month and half!

📍 Pick up a parade program along the route for all the event details.

📍Since the parade falls on a Sunday, it has a special start time of 11:30 am. The parade will be about an hour+ long.

📍There are no bleachers at center stage this year. Please plan accordingly if you require chair seating.

📍Seating inside the gates at LMU will not be permitted this year.

📍It is recommended you arrive early to reserve your spot.

📍County guidelines for this event include: 1. Stay home if you are sick with a cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever or chills or if you are currently under quarantine or isolation. 2. Masks are recommended if you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and distancing is difficult. 3. Be considerate and keep you distance (about 2 arms lengths) from others. 4. Clean your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer after contact with frequently touched surfaces.

📍An EMT will be stationed at 83rd Street for any emergencies.

📍 Water is available for free at announcer booths, as well as distributed by the Stephanie Younger Group along the route.
