We'll have pizza, soda, snacks to eat while playing Business Bingo....lots of prizes for those who play!!!

The CEO Club and the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship held their 1st Burghy Biz Pitch Competition on Friday, April 14, 2023, in the Alumni Conference Room! We had 8 competitors and 4 Sharks/Judges for the event! Coming in first place ($200 + trophy) was Sukhpreet Kaur for her product idea for a diabetic ring, second place ($100 + trophy) went to Gina Holton for her VanLife business proposal, and third place ($50 + trophy) was awarded to María Pina-Mousseau and Levi Martinez for their ReviewSense app! Many thanks to all of the participants, judges and sponsors (Student Association, CAS, Plattsburgh Alumni Association, and the Housing Office!

What an outstanding visit we had from 1990 grad Cheryl Stallings, VP of Content & Business Operations, NBA India and NBA Asia on March 22-23, 2023! She spoke to 5 classes, gave a lunch talk on “Mentorship and Social Impact,” and spoke to an enthusiastic crowd of students at the Career Development Center’s session in the Cardinal Lounge! A huge thank you to Cheryl! We hope you will visit again very soon!

The Eric Dalius Scholarship essay competition is an annual contest for students who are interested in entrepreneurship and business.
