At some point in the near future I will be having a surgery I have been waiting for for YEARS. I remember the day I woke up after 2 weeks of chemo & lupron treatment and my body started to become unrecognizable.. it felt like I had experienced an overnight b**b job šŸ˜‚ walked in with Bs and left NYC with DDs.

For the last decade I’ve wanted this surgery. Not just for the size but because it has impacted my daily life. From back pain to dressing tue BTC is not all it’s cracked up to be especially having CP.

But as the surgery feels like it’s within my grasp I have realized that this experience isn’t really talked about as a woman with CP so, like with anything in my life why not document the experience and share what I learn.

We don’t have a date yet but, while we’re waiting I am committed to prepping my body and getting as healthy and strong as possible. I’m 8 days into strict food tracking and daily movement and feeling really great!

I have no idea what this journey is going to look like but I think that’s the part that excites me. Looking forward to learning and sharing this experience along the way!

If you didn’t have stickers covering your HOT PINK crutches were you even cool?! šŸ˜‚

10 years ago I met a goalie. It wasn’t long before I found myself watching his games every Sunday night bundled up in his favorite sweatshirt at the rink while learning the rules, the lingo and understanding that goalies are truly their own breed šŸ˜…

Over the last few years I’ve really started to enjoy watching sports (especially hockey and football)and Ty has truly embraced and encouraged it. Living in SoFla for 8 years and NC for 4 and with Ty born and raised in Sunrise, the Florida Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes became the teams we always were drawn to rooting for.

I love watching games with Ty. His knowledge of the sport is incredible and he can sometimes call plays moments before they happen. 🤯

Tonight, our little family was LOCKED in as the Canes are ONE GAME AWAY 🚨

I married that goalie, stole his favorite sweatshirt and fell in love with a game he introduced me to. It’s never too late to became a fan of something and have fun with the community šŸŽ‰

A long story, but it’s worth it. šŸ–¤

Imagine being 8 years old, meeting someone and never remembering life without them. For me, that’s . I had HOT pink crutches and never shut up and he had a voice that I always envied with a personality that lit up every room he entered. We had things that made us unique but, no matter what direction life took us we’ve always found ways to support one another.

I remember attending a Viscardi Sports night charity event and all these famous athletes were signing my crutches because started a trend after going to her show so logically, why shouldn’t Michael Hull do the same? That memory always makes me šŸ™‚. He’s always known who he was in the world and if you were lucky enough to be loved by him he’d make sure you always felt it.

In 2016, I called him to tell him 2 pieces of vastly different information. 1. I had cancer and I was coming to NY ā€œfor a whileā€ and 2. I met a really amazing guy and I couldn’t wait for them to meet! The cancer information we could deal with later… his bigger question? Does Ty make you happy? Does he treat you well? This is just who Michael is at his core.

I couldn’t have been happier when came into the picture. Their love for each other was so obvious that from the first time we met it felt like he’d always been there.

Planning our 2021 wedding celebration there weren’t many things I envisioned my whole life, but one of them for certain was having THE MICHAEL HULL sing as I walked down the aisle. That wedding celebration never happened. While that decision has deeply affected me, life continued moving on, people would have their special days and sometimes all the negative emotions surrounding our cancellation would come flooding back.

This past weekend a few pieces of that broken heart began to heal.

On a day where 100+ people were in attendance to celebrate THEIR LOVE they surprised us with a first dance. 🄹 (cue UGLY tears)

I will never have enough words to express my gratitude.
Thank you to everyone in that room who knew FOR MONTHS & said NOTHING and everyone who took a moment to show us such love.

We promise to c

Just curious… Can we go back and do it all over again??

It’s been a week and we are STILL talking about this experience of pure LOVE. I hope everyone gets to experience the kind of love we all felt in that room at least once in their lives.

We have some of the best memories and made some of the most amazing friendships on that dance floor. I will share more magic soon but for now, here’s a few moments captured that make my heart so happy!

Thanks for having us āœØšŸ„‚ We love you so deeply.

Sassy Formal šŸ‘—

I had so much fun getting glammed up with for the wedding. A few months before the event I knew I wanted to support a local HMU (the theme was sassy formal after all) and lucky for me, knows some of the most amazing people. Thank you for making me feel so beautiful Bridie! 10/10 highly recommend 🄰✨
