Derrick Cox - Construction Manager

As a member of the ZMC Team, Derrick brings an added opportunity for growth and development. After graduating high school in Holland, he chose to move to Florida and work in commercial construction, specifically metal stud framing. He was hired by a large Orlando-based building firm and worked his way up to the position of Superintendent. He has supervised projects for many well-known companies like Disney, Universal, and NASA, as well as many government jobs. He is OSHA certified and is trained in all arial lift equipment. Derrick has over 20 years of construction experience managing multiple crews and projects and is excited to bring his skills and expertise to ZMC. Off the job, he enjoys camping, boating, and fishing with his wife, and their two children.

Progress Update: Rebuilding Stronger Than Ever

From structural framing to a reimagined interior, we're making incredible progress transforming this house back into a beautiful, safe, and functional home. Every beam, wall, and detail is being rebuilt with quality craftsmanship and care.

It's always rewarding to see a project move from disaster recovery to renewal, and we're excited to share more milestones as construction continues.

Mark Dunsford - Chief Operating Officer

Mark is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and performance of the company's construction operations. He oversees project management, field operations, safety, staffing, scheduling, quality control, financial performance, and client satisfaction. This role serves as the bridge between the company's strategic vision and daily ex*****on, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

He works closely with Zadok to develop operational strategies, improve profitability, build company culture, and support sustainable growth.

Zadok Mills - Owner/CEO
As the Owner/CEO of ZMC DESIGN + BUILD, Zadok Mills is a seasoned professional who brings his passion for custom home building and home renovation to every project. His superior knowledge of construction and commitment to providing quality craftsmanship right down to the last detail allows him to provide his customers with a stress-free experience.

Zadok began his first business in 2003 as a framing subcontractor, received his contractor’s license in 2007, and became a licensed Building Contractor in the State of Florida with over 20 years of building experience. He looks forward to continuing the legacy of crafting exceptional homes for residents throughout the Tampa Bay area for years to come.

ZMC on MISSION. Zadok and Mark traveled to Ecuador along with their sons this past week to help build a security wall for a local church. Servanthood is at the heart of ZMC Design + Build.
