Scholarship deadline extended into April

The United Methodist Higher Education Foundation has extended its 2024 scholarship application deadline to April 15. The second extension comes in response to reports of continued delays caused by problems with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. The private nonprofit foundation awards $2 million in scholarships annually.

The Harry Denman Evangelism Awards honor United Methodists in each annual conference whose exceptional ministry of evangelism – expressed in Word (what), Sign (why) and Deed (how) – brings people into a life transforming relationship with Jesus Christ. The award is named for Dr. Harry Denman, general secretary of the board of evangelism of the Methodist Church from 1939 to 1964. GBHEM - Scholarships for Further Education 02/07/2024

Forty-seven students from the NTC will receive $127,148 in scholarship money. The money, out of a pool of $3.9 million, comes in part thanks to your support of United Methodist Student Day. Students who are members of The United Methodist Church can apply for a Fall 2024 GBHEM scholarship. The deadline is March 13.
