2 things that stand out to me about the US Open. 1st were very happy for Wyndham Clark. Great play. If you want to be a better player here are 2 things to work on.

1st thing is his caddy always said, “Good Process” before he walked away. Every player needs a good pre shot routine or process before getting into their shot. It calms the mind and gets rid of the noise.

2nd thing is conditioning. Most players we fit can only give us 50-75 shots before they start getting tired and producing tired and inconsistent data. When you watch tour players, they show up 3 hours early and some even work out before getting to the range. It’s not uncommon to see a player finish a round and go to the range for an hour or 2 after. I tell my competitive golfers that they need to work on being able to play 36 holes in a day while maintaining focus and strength.
If you work on these 2 things, you will become a better golfer!
