TCHS got best in music for 5A and 4 th place overall being a 5A band with 6A bands at the Birdsville marching contest. So proud of our sweet boy the Drum Major and the TC band. Next UIL. The scorching sun in the stands was fitting for the Scorched team.

The band directors work tirelessly with our kids and this photo has the 3 seniors drum majors who will be doing great things next year. Tori Annie Brewer you’ve been a great friend and mentor to Eli. And that’s a wrap for TCHS marching season. We are so proud of our Eli. Drum major this year and even stepped up to be one of the 3 trumpet’s soloists last minute. Trumpet is not his instrument. Flute player freshman year. Then marched the melo last year. Can’t wait for next year. Marching band brought so much to us. Thank you Mr. Larkin if you ever see this ❤️

The DNC tonight is making me hopeful. So many powerful testimonies and calls for a better and safer America, from republicans asking us to vote not Democrat but for Democracy. The alternative is simply scary.
