1991

I was elected to the Board of the National Religious Broadcasters. The NRB and I believe religious liberty is the cornerstone of a free society, and that we must protect our freedoms so that the transforming reality of Jesus Christ can reach hearts and minds the world over.

Caregiving begins with God and reflects His heart toward us.

Every act of compassion is a small picture of how the Lord cares for His children. When we care for others, we are mirroring the One who sees every need, wipes every tear, and promises, “I am with you."

1989

The National Religious Broadcasters honored us again, this time with its "Broadcast Ministry of the Year" award.

The appeal of our program is simply that we present “Biblical Hope and Practical Help” on 100+ relevant topics.

"Sticks and stones" do break bones and words can wound a tender heart.

But God is not limited by the words that have hurt you. He steps into those hidden places, shatters prisons of pain, and sets captives free. In Christ, lies are replaced with truth, shame with forgiveness, and despair with living hope.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

You are so significant, that the Lord has already pre-planned what He has for you and your future.

1991

My first "real" studio, a discarded Pizza Hut refrigerator. In the early 90s, we moved the broadcast from my home into an old Pizza Hut refrigerator, equipped with extra sound proofing, where I hosted the broadcasts for the next 19 years.

Sympathy says, "I'm sorry."
Empathy says, "I can relate to your pain."
Compassion says, "I'll stand by you through your pain and help whenever I can."

1898-1992

For 3 years, I wrote and taught twice-weekly. "Counseling Through The Bible" studies, covering 96 topics in six, 16-week semesters.

Our teaching schedule was so ambitious that my assistant would sometimes finish and then hand me my overhead transparencies seconds before I needed to put them on the projector to teach.

This study formed the foundation for our, "Keys For Living Library."

We had an incredible time at the Hope Center yesterday as June taught on “Dysfunctional Families: Making Peace with Your Past” from the most recent Discipleship University series.

We hope everyone who attended gained hope, understanding and practical tools for healing!
