I’m so thankful for each of you on the page and off, that bless me with your presence, bless our kids with influence for a positive future and whom make a difference in the lives of anybody. Heavy news coverage day for Upoer Peninsula Scouting. Our Mackinac Honor Patrol and Cub Scout Olympics have been featured prominently last night and this am. It’s a great day to be a Scout in the Hiawathaland District. Fun fact, Hiawathaland District is over 16000 sq miles and is home to Mackinac Island (Mackinac City is planted in the Michigan Crissroads Council). Yes over 16,000 square miles, that’s larger than most BSA Councils.(The area in blue is my district.

Looking for something to do this summer? Nestled in God’s Country (Munising, MI) Camp Hiawatha is currently hiring for the following summer positions: Archery Director, Lifeguards (waterfront staff) and outdoor skills ( Scoutcraft, 1st year camper program).
