Making Jesus Known at Work and Around the World

The Stone Table is a Great Commission organization that mobilizes believers to make Jesus known at work and around the world.

Most Christians will spend the majority of their waking hours at work.

Yet many of us go through our days with a nagging sense of restlessness, trying to connect P&L reports and KPIs to God's Kingdom.

Know this: Wherever God has placed you, whatever task is in front of you, and whoever is next to you...you have purpose.

The Great Commission was never reserved for pastors and missionaries. It belongs to all of us.

God has strategically scattered His people throughout offices, factories, classrooms, hospitals, construction sites, boardrooms, coffee shops, and businesses of every kind. Not by accident, but on purpose.

This carousel contains some of the most powerful insights shared by global workers at our most recent CBB. Their words remind us that our work, skills, relationships, and influence can all become part of God's mission.

Swipe through. Be challenged. Be encouraged.

And remember:

Your workplace is not separate from God's mission.
Your profession is not a detour from your calling.
And your skills may be the very thing God uses to open doors for the Gospel.

Make Jesus known at work and around the world.

To Be Known. To Be Loved. To Belong.

We were made for this. So we search.

Achievement. Approval. Acceptance.

None of these were ever meant to carry that weight.

The Gospel begins where striving ends.

Your identity was never meant to be earned.

🌏 UPG Focused Prayer: Nepal

There are more than 3 billion people on earth with little to no access to the gospel. We call them Unreached People Groups.

Jesus' Great Commission invites each of us into His global story, and one of the most important places to begin is prayer.

Today, join us as we lift up the people of Nepal.

Why do you work?

Feel-good faith says, "I work to build my life."

Success. Security. Comfort. Happiness.

But the Gospel tells a bigger story.

Before sin entered the world, God gave humanity meaningful work. Work isn't a curse. It's part of God's design. We work because we were created in the image of a working God.

You weren't created merely to consume. You were created to cultivate.

Whether you're in an office, a classroom, a home, or a job site, your work matters because it reflects the God who made you.

You were never meant to do life alone.

God created us for relationship with Him and with one another. Christian community is part of God's design for our growth and flourishing.

Scripture gives us many reasons why community matters:

1. God created us for relationship (Genesis 2:18)
2. Relationships are a gift (James 1:17)
3. The Church is a family (Psalm 133:1)
4. God shapes us through people (Proverbs 27:17)
5. Relationships reveal God's character (1 Peter 4:8)

If community feels scary, take heart. You don't have to have it all figured out before taking the first step. Some of God's greatest encouragement, growth, and blessings are often found in biblical community.

Can you find the photo...the moment everything changed?

Jordy fled the Congo looking for safety and a future.

Along the way, he met Jesus.

He became a barber. Started building a business. Started rebuilding a life.

Last week at the Durban Growth Summit (Northplace Church) in South Africa, Jordy stepped onto a stage to pitch his business idea in our Shark Tank competition.

When his name was announced as one of the winners, he collapsed into Bill's arms.

It wasn't just about the money.
It was about hope.
It was about purpose.

It was about a young man discovering that his story wasn't over.

This is why we do what we do.
Not simply to start businesses.
Not simply to host conferences.

But to see lives transformed as people discover who God created them to be.

Somewhere in these photos is the moment. See if you can find it.

What if Jesus' miracles were about more than healing?

Every miracle was a glimpse of the world as God intended it to be.

Wherever Jesus went, restoration followed. The blind saw. The sick were healed. The lost were found. Jesus came to restore what sin had broken.

The restoration that began with Christ's first coming will be completed at His second.

“Work can be worship” is not a metaphor.

Before sin entered the world, God gave humanity work.

Adam was placed in the garden “to work it and keep it” (Genesis 2:15).

Work was never the curse.
Toil was.

The Kingdom of God advances through faithful people who plant, build, serve, create, lead, teach, repair, organize, and care for others in the name of Jesus.

The gospel is bigger than escaping the world.

It is about joining God in His work of renewal within it.

Every act of integrity,
every hidden sacrifice,
every ordinary act of faithfulness—

becomes part of a much bigger story.

When done unto the Lord,
work becomes worship.
