We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Autobody Technician to join our team and help restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Responsibilities:

•Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models
•Repair or replace body panels, frames, and other damaged components
•Sand, mask, and prep surfaces for painting
•Operate frame machines, welders, and other body repair tools
•Follow repair orders, safety protocols, and OEM procedures
•Collaborate with estimators, painters, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate repairs

Requirements:

•2+ years of autobody repair experience preferred
•Proficiency with frame measuring, pulling, and welding
•Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
•Valid driver’s license
•I-CAR certification is a plus (but not required)

Easter Egg Hunts this weekend! -- Take your pick, above ground or underwater ... The annual community Hummel Park Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Carpenter Realtors(R) is back again this year on Saturday, April 4 from 10 to 11 am. It's the above ground one. It takes place on the softball and baseball diamonds along S. Center Street, but you're encourage to park on the west side of the creek off CR 700E (Sugar Grove Road) and walk across the bridge because parking on the east side is limited and fills up fast. Details can be found on the Hummel Park website (hummelpark.net). It's FREE.

The underwater Easter Egg Hunt is part of the Plainfield Rec Center's Happy Easter Eggstravaganza, which starts at 10 am and runs to noon. At 10 we'll have photos with the Easter Bunny (FREE!) and limited craft opportunities in the cafe and the commons area. At 11 am we'll begin the underwater Easter Egg Hunt in the indoor Splash Island aquatic center. This also is FREE! For details, see the flyer below.
