Unfortunately we have some very sad news to share will you. Jim Alberico, our lead singer, band mate and great friend has passed away. There really aren't words to express our sadness and how much Jim meant to all of us as a musician and a friend. He always had a smile on his face and helped bring out the best in all of us. As many of you know, Jim was multi-talented and lived his life as a passionate musician who gave his all whenever he took the stage. He was a longtime member of Vintage Wood, one of the best Chicagoland vocal bands ever. We were fortunate to have him as part of SHiNDiG! for the past 5 years and he will be missed more that we can express. 😥

Very excited about our next outdoor show at Festa Italiana! And we couldn't open for a better band - 'Strung Out'!!

Band update: When we formed SHiNDiG!, we had hoped to have a good 5 year run. Well, thanks to all of you, it's now been 15 years, over 500 shows at many awesome venues and we have close to 2,500 followers!! We have enjoyed every single show and more importantly making so many great friends over the years. We also have a strong passion for the '60s music we play and that has kept us going with smiles on our faces.

With that said, we have decided it's time to wrap things up on a high note and take some time to relax and enjoy the music that all the other bands in the area provide. And as you all know, we definitely have some great bands out there! It's very likely that a few of our band members, who already are filling in with other bands, will end up permanently joining another group and as that happens we will keep all of you updated. So we still have 8 shows remaining in 2025 and we would very much like to see you once or twice before we close out the year. You will continue to get updates for each upcoming show. We just wanted to update you now and send out a big THANK YOU from each of us for your wonderful support over the years.
