The pink on the bow is good to go. I look to finish the inside of the bow in the next couple days. I'm trying to get some time to sit and work on the castle. I added a turret and a half. Hopefully I can get more done on the castle this weekend.

It was a good day for stitching. It could've been better, but I decided I would try to get more sleep than stitches last night. Travel day today, so I'm not expecting much. Let's see what we can do later today.

It certainly was a good day for stitching yesterday. I finished the sky portion I was working on and started the bow. I crossed the 1,000 stitch mark. More work coming today on the bow.

While I'm at it, we're traveling today for the Illinois State Special Olympics competition at Illinois State University. The opening ceremonies last night did not disappoint. Lots of positivity and energy. A couple young adults on his team already competed and have medals. Going to State just never gets old. It's something I hope we never take for granted. Looking forward to my son's 100 meter dash today.

I think I spent more time yesterday picking out the remnants of a broken thread then I did stitching. I still need to tuck that broken thread in today. It's the start of a three day travel day weekend. Hopefully, I get some decent stitching in but we'll see. I think I'll be working on sky for a little bit of the day, but also will start the bow.

Yesterday, I thought I'd have a lot more time to stitch than I did. It was still an enjoyable night, but not much time to stitch last night. I did start on the castle while I was at the house. While I was out and about, I also started a needle for the sky. I've parked both so that way I can go back-and-forth between the two.

I don't know how much I'll get done tonight. It may be another low stitch count day. Tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday are all travel days. Saturday will be a lot of hurry up and wait so I may get some decent stitching done that day.

I never did get back to the Cars birth announcement yesterday. I would like to get to it before the weekend, but we'll see. I did get a lot of work done on Minnie Mouse's face. I'm ready to move onto the castle and the bow. I may have a little extra time this afternoon where I can do some easy sky work as well.
