Growing up near Bangor, I was obsessed with Stephen King's fence since I was a wee little maker.
For years, I've wanted one of those bats that adorn it. Even trying to reach out to Terry Steele, the original designer, to see if he would come out of retirement to make one (he never got back to me sadly). After a few failed attempts from other metal artists, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
As most of you know I've been doing basic 3D modelling for a while. Mostly to figure out how to create this bat! Well, with some assistance from Meshy.ai, and several hours learning and working in Blender, I now have my very own replica. It's not a perfect match, but it's good enough to make me feel good about it so now I want to share it with you!
If you are interested in purchasing one, I'm doing a limited run of 10. If you'd like to get in on this run, shoot me a DM, and I'll add you to the list. I'll update this post when I get to ten.
Here are the details.

After 8 years of transporting my Darth Vader costume for 501st Legion events, I’ve finally upgraded from microfiber towels to custom-made travel bags! In this video, I walk you through how I created soft, flannel bags for each piece of my armor so they stay safe during transport.
Whether you're a cosplayer, costumer, or just curious about how to protect high-end costumes, this simple DIY project might inspire your next upgrade.
All it takes is some soft fabric, a bit of sewing, and a touch of Star Wars flair!
