YSP Unit

This might have been the lady's favorite trip yet! We took our female Empowerment Group shopping before school at Gabe's in North Hills. They used their allotted money to purchase items of their choosing and everyone left happy and thankful! 🛍️✨

Our August Male Empowerment Event took Sandbox VR by storm! They were able to enjoy some food and conquer 2 virtual games 🎮🎮🎮🎮 check our story for the winners video! 🏆

What a powerful day at the National African American History Museum 🙏🏾 We were grateful to take in the histories that have shaped America and enjoy a fantastic meal at the cafe 🔥😋 Some of us even saw the Washington Monument, The White House and the Presidential motorcade! 🇺🇸🫡

The YSP Unit is rolling deep at the Daniel Memorial Conference in Reston, VA! We're here and already learning some gems from peers from around the country. 📖✍🏾

We would like to thank Shayla Penn and Burgh Eats and Treats! for providing lunch for our team today! Stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. They said, "It was fire!!" Next stop, the independent living conference in Virginia!

Light rain did not stop us! ☔🌧️ Our back to school event was a success with vision board making, games, backpack giveaways and bingo! Huge thank you to Roxanne's Catering as always the food was a hit! DJ C-RIC kept the groove and Stylish Occasions by Devona Edmond LLC provided a super cute selfie background.

Our male empowerment group surely had a blast (pun intended) when they went to Zone 28 for laser tag, games and bowling! There was nothing but positive feedback and smiles!

It's always about the teamwork for the YSP Unit! 💪🏾 We moved some items into storage to make way for new hires!! The team got everything done on time and we enjoyed lasagna from Mama D's Catering afterwards. A job well done 👌🏾

What a treat! Our female empowerment event for July was at the perfume bar. Our ladies were taught how to mix scents and were able to choose a combination of their own and name it! Everyone enjoyed the outing 🎉

Kennywood Day!! 🎢🎡🪅🤹🏾‍♀️ The YSP Unit had a blast today at Kennywood Park! Thank you to the park staff and the volunteers who came to ensure the safety of our youth! It was a hot one but water rides and ice cream kept us cool 😎 thank you North Shore T**z for our awesome shirts!
