For Catholics, the Holy Hour has a very special significance. It means a continuous and unbroken hour spent in the presence of Our Divine Lord in the Eucharist… This Holy Hour will be spent in both prayer (recitation of formal, vocal prayer) and meditation. A distinction is here made between the two, with the emphasis on the latter… But the principal purpose of these Holy Hour meditations is the cultivation of mental prayer, or meditation… Meditation is a kind of communing of spirit with spirit, with God as its object... 𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕦𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕡𝕘𝕙.𝕠𝕣𝕘 🙏🏻

This weekend, June 6-7, the Church celebrates one of the great solemnities in our calendar: the feast of Corpus Christi, the most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. Established in the 13th century, this feast is an opportunity to honor and give thanks for the great gift of the Blessed Sacrament.
It is also the second of two information weekends for Lamb of God Chapel. There will be adoration testimonials at the beginning of each Mass at STM. After Mass adoration committee members will be available to share information, answer your questions, or help you sign up for a weekly holy hour or as a chapel substitute.
Following the 11:30AM Mass, we will joyfully celebrate our faith with an outdoor Eucharistic procession, including 4 outdoor altars, music and prayers. First Communicants are invited to process in their Communion attire.
The procession route includes altars at the St. Michael statue, St. Thomas More Manor, in front of Ave Maria Academy, and at the parish office stairs. There are indoor locations in case of rain. The procession ends with Benediction in the church and a free Corpus Christi picnic in the Family Life Center. Those that cannot join the procession are welcome to join us for Benediction and the picnic.

Second adorers needed: Thursday at noon (Rosary recited), Saturday 3PM (shortened hour before 4PM Mass) or choose any hour 24/6!

In the Lamb of God Chapel, please join us following the 11:30 am Mass, to pray the rosary and to participate in a prayer of reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. On these First Fridays of the month, we will also gather in the STM breezeway, between the church and the Family Life Center, after the rosary. Please stop by and take this opportunity to get to know one another. All are welcome. ❤️‍🔥

Deacon Matt Selzer will preside over an hour of Eucharistic adoration, giving thanks for the vocations in our parish and across the diocese, and asking the Lord to continue drawing others into his friendship through a religious vocation. 🕊️
