Registration for ACM@CMU's annual Algorithms with a Purpose competition is now open at www.awap2018.com. Register individually or as a team of up to 4.
Unlike usual programming competitions, AWAP does not have a "correct" solution. Instead, you are rewarded for having creative approaches and clever heuristics.
AWAP is a beginner-friendly competition and does not require any knowledge of complex algorithms; all you need is basic Python experience.
Awap 2018 - Fast Food Frenzy Algorithms with a Purpose (AWAP) is an annual student-run event held at Carnegie Mellon University. AWAP aims to expose algorithms to programmers of all experiences in a fun game-like scenario.
HackCMU 2017 is happening September 8 - 9th! Keep an eye out for registration on August 28th at hackcmu.org.
