In Honor of International Overdose Awareness Day yesterday, Rashod and Bradley joined forces with Allegheny County Health Department.

Together, they advocated for Harm Reduction and honored the lives lost and affected by overdose.

Yesterday, Project Silk proudly took part in Free Store 15104's Harm Reduction Clinic!

In collaboration with the Allegheny County Health Department and their Overdose Prevention Pop-up, Bradley, Chas, and Rashod engaged with the community. Together, they provided essential insights into our drop-in center and a number of vital resources.

HIV testing for women of color is one of the many priorities of Project Silk. In 2021, women made up 18% of the new HIV diagnoses in the US, of that 18%, more than half were black women.

Project Silk is a safe space for all. It is a place to find community, to heal, and to find peace.
