After a week of making their own monsters and exploring the writing process, campers were brimming with new ideas for their fictional worlds. 👻 📚
This year, students at Point Park University Pre-College Programs' Creative Writing Camp learned about the elements that go into designing characters and building narratives. They drew on the tropes of horror movies and creepy campfire stories to explore storytelling techniques that can be applied to any fictional world.
From psychological thrillers to commentaries on society, these superstar writers had a blast collaborating with their fellow creatives and receiving feedback from camp leaders. ✨
