We collaborate with community advocates to develop creative marketing solutions for positive change.

Juneteenth is a day to honor freedom, reflect on history, and recognize the ongoing work of justice.

It is also a reminder that communication has power. The stories we tell, the history we preserve, and the voices we lift up all shape how communities understand the past and build toward a more equitable future.

Today, we celebrate Black freedom, resilience, creativity, and leadership.

We also recognize that the work of liberation continues, and we remain committed to supporting organizations and communities working toward justice, equity, and dignity for all.

We’re excited to share the new name and brand for Community Project Hub of SWPA (CoHub).

Formerly known as the SWPA Municipal Project Hub, CoHub has been doing important work across Southwestern Pennsylvania — helping communities move projects forward, build local capacity, and connect the dots between ideas, resources, and implementation.

This rebrand gave the organization a chance to say more clearly what has already been true in the work.

CoHub is about community. It is about collaboration. It is about helping local leaders and residents shape projects that reflect their place, their priorities, and their future.

TrailBlaze was grateful to work alongside Megan Zeigler and the CoHub team through this process. Naming and brand work can be messy in the best way. It asks good questions, brings people back to purpose, and helps an organization find language that feels both honest and useful.

Congratulations to Megan and the full CoHub team on this next chapter. We’re proud to have helped bring this story into focus.

Community events matter because they give people a reason to come together. They create space for neighbors to connect, local vendors to be supported, artists to be celebrated, and communities to feel proud of the place they call home.

This Saturday, our friends in Mt. Oliver Borough are hosting a Juneteenth celebration from 6 to 10 p.m. The evening will include a street fashion show, live music, more than 40 local vendors, sounds by Arie Cole, community, and art. Consider joining them, if you are in Pittsburgh.

Juneteenth is a time to honor freedom, reflect on history, and recognize the ongoing work of justice and liberation. We’re proud to support events that bring people together with purpose and help communities tell their own story.
