“The One That Got Away” 🎣
Spent last weekend fishing a creek up in Somerset chasing golden trout. Saw a few beauties but they wanted absolutely nothing to do with me… I threw the whole tackle box at them. 😂
This painting is a reminder that sometimes the chase is the reward. Fishing, art, life… not every cast lands, not every idea sticks, and not every opportunity works out. But the thrill of the hunt keeps you coming back.

Braddock, PA ♥️ My roots run deep here… this is where my dad grew up, so this one hits close to home.
This painting will be on display and I’ll be teaching a free workshop this Saturday (11–4) at the Battle of Braddock Museum… pull up!

A little late for opening weekend of trout in PA, but the backyard trout are officially swimming. 🎣
When we bought this house in 2020, the first thing I painted on the garage was a mural of a lion. I painted it just weeks before my daughter was born.
Six years later, we gave the wall a facelift.
This time the mural is rainbow trout, and the coolest part is that I didn’t paint it alone. My daughter helped paint over the original mural she arrived into this world with, and her little brother jumped in to help too.
Swipe through to see the whole process:
primer over the old lion, the new sketch taking shape, lots of spray paint, and a few family photos mixed in along the way.
Kind of wild looking back at that first mural now. What started as something I painted while waiting for my daughter to arrive has turned into something we all worked on together. ♥️

2026 is already off to an incredible start in the studio.
Lately I’ve felt more locked in than ever, and honestly I think I’m producing some of the best work of my life right now. New ideas keep flowing and the momentum has been unreal. At the rate I’m going I’m averaging about one painting a week, even while juggling my own art career, lining up gigs for the upcoming mural season, having curated my first month long group exhibition, raising my kiddos, teaching high school art, and being right in the thick of coaching the boys tennis season.
Grateful for everyone who has been supporting, collecting, and following along on this journey. A lot more coming soon.
The year is just getting started. 🎨♥️

Still trying to find the words for this one…
The closing of A Love Letter to the Mon Valley was everything I could have hoped for and more. The turnout. The energy. The conversations. The love in the room. It was unreal.
With the success of the show and the fact that almost all of my artwork sold out, I honestly needed this weekend to decompress and pinch myself. I’m beyond grateful. Beyond proud. Beyond inspired.
Thank you to every single artist who trusted me and brought their work into this vision. You elevated this show in ways I could have never done alone.
Thank you to Eberle Studios for believing in the concept and giving us the space to make it real.
Thank you to 1 Valley Social for helping us build something bigger than just an exhibition.
And thank you to every single person who came to the opening, the closing, or stopped through during gallery hours this past month. You showed up for Mon Valley art. You supported local creatives. You made this matter.
Art is a universal language. It is meant to bring community together. And this show did exactly that.
What a time to be alive.
What a time to be an artist.
What a high bar to set as a first-time curator.
I truly cannot wait to see where this journey takes me next.
Mon Valley forever.

Another Free Fridge installed at the Millvale Community Library! ♥️
This project is such a powerful reminder that it truly takes a community to make a difference. So many beautiful people are part of helping the Free Fridge Project thrive—whether it’s through donations, organizing, painting, or simply spreading the word.
I’m beyond honored to contribute my art to this mission and grateful to the Emma Munson Foundation for continuing to lead with love, generosity, and compassion. Together, we’re building something bigger than ourselves: a future where everyone has access to food, dignity, and care.
Here’s to many more fridges and many more communities touched. 🌎✌️
