Some people ask - how can we get our terpenes separated from the oil without distillation? Our reply : start by running upcycled CO2 extraction using a counter-current column like we do. Then, if you want further separation of terps into concentrates - try SFC! in 2009 we build the largest SFC ever made in America for the Malaysia Palm Oil Board. Terpenes, tocopherols, tocotrienols, omega-3s...so many valuable products from a commodity feedstock like hops, h**p and algae can start with counter-current and end with SFC.
