Finding defects invisible to the human eye to improve aircraft maintenance.
Built in Pittsburgh. Deployed around the world.
Gecko Robotics stood alongside the President of the United States and Senator McCormick at the Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit this week.
American innovation is the only way that we can win the race for AI and robotics dominance and quickly rebuild the American Defense Industrial Base.
Ahead of the Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit, Gecko Robotics CEO Jake Loosararian joined CNN to discuss how the U.S. Navy is slashing maintenance delays.
As navies around the world work to overcome maintenance backlogs and readiness challenges, the U.S. is leading the way by deploying Gecko's technology to identify issues on warships up to 50 times faster than traditional inspection methods.
That means assessing the health of a warship in days rather than months, generating millions of data points and delivering the actionable insights needed to return ships to sea faster.
We'll be continuing this conversation at Senator Dave McCormick's Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit, showcasing how technology built in Pittsburgh is helping to strengthen America's defense industrial base and military readiness.

Jobs. Energy. Defense. Intelligence.
We convened senior executives and industry leaders from across America and around the world to discuss the impact that AI and robotics is having on these important issues.
From technology that equips skilled workers with the tools they need, and unlocking additional energy from existing assets, to slashing defense manufacturing timelines by 90% and providing real-time intelligence on critical infrastructure, the verdict was clear.
The greatest risk is not getting it wrong, but waiting too long to get started.

Some see advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence as a threat to the workforce.
Others see it as an indicator of who and what “got left behind” — and a possible solution to experts aging out of industry.
“In the last 40 years, American innovation has been one of the most extraordinary forces in human history — but it also made a quiet decision,” said Jake Loosararian, co-founder and CEO of Gecko Robotics.
Loosararian and Gecko investors, employees and clients gathered in the company’s North Side headquarters earlier this month for a Jobs, Energy, Defense and Intelligence (JEDI) forum largely focused on a future workforce driven by AI and robotics.
Among the discussion topics: an aging workforce, a younger generation lacking expertise in industries largely siloed from tech innovation and the fear of AI and robots taking over jobs and making expertise obsolete.

We were honored to welcome Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Alebri, CEO of ADNOC Onshore, and his team at Gecko’s headquarters in Pittsburgh. The discussion centered on the role robotics and AI can play in advancing reliability, safety, and efficiency across the energy value chain.
Dr. Ahmed also joined Gecko co-founder and CEO, Jake Loosararian and CEO of the Middle East Institute Ambassador (ret.) Stuart Jones for a fireside chat as part of Gecko's first annual JEDI forum where they discussed the future of robotics in the energy sector.
ADNOC Group is one of the most technology-forward energy companies in the world, and Gecko is proud to be growing our partnership with ADNOC and increasing our presence in the UAE.
"Forward-deployed engineers learn a problem very deeply and build a solution to tackle that problem. Once they've built that solution, usually there are other customers that have that problem too."
Hear from Tristan how what started as an FDE project in Unreal Engine built the foundation for how Gecko renders and understands 3D data in Cantilever.
