Peter Max did this painting, Take Me To The River, for a WHIRL cover.
All I had to do was ask, and he didn't charge a cent! Executive Editor Leslie Hoffman wrote an amazing article about the rivers of Pittsburgh. Max also did a cover of Mayor Bob O'Connor when he was elected. Life is so short. Fill it with creativity, productivity, and love. Peter Max was a dream! ❤️
