This September, my students have the incredible opportunity to attend a live performance of Disney’s The Lion King at the Benedum Center—and we need your help to make it happen!

For many of my students, this would be their very first time seeing a professional musical. Experiences like this go far beyond entertainment—they spark inspiration, deepen their understanding of music and theater, and can ignite a lifelong passion for the arts. 🎭🎶

Unfortunately, the cost of tickets makes it difficult for many families to attend on their own. That’s why I’m reaching out to our amazing community for support.

Celebrating Black History Month

Congratulations to our music students Josiah, Simone, Noel and Camryn for participating in PMEA Junior High District Chorus. They rehearsed all day, culminating in a wonderful performance at night. We’re so proud of them!!! 🎶🎶

Renown music producer and teaching artist Mr. Akil Griffin is working with students in the Instrumental class on music production.
