🇺🇸 Veterans Breakfast Club Ribbon Cutting at Phase 4 🇺🇸
Last Thursday, Phase 4 Learning Center proudly welcomed the Veterans Breakfast Club to our Tom Reed Armed Forces Career & Veterans Center with a successful ribbon-cutting ceremony.
It was a great morning celebrating our veterans alongside community leaders, including Allegheny County Executive Sarah Inamorato, Mayor Corey O’Connor, and State Representative La’Tasha Mayes. The Veterans Breakfast Club is a wonderful addition to the programs and resources we offer those who have served our country.
At Phase 4, we are committed to honoring and supporting active duty, first responders , veterans through transitioning to education, career services, community partnerships, and meaningful opportunities for connection.

As the school year comes to a close, we know the journey isn’t always easy. These last days are more than just finishing assignments—they’re about growth, reflection, and pushing through to the finish line.
At Phase 4, we don’t just teach students—we encourage them. We remind them that their potential doesn’t stop in the classroom. We stand with them, support them, and push them to keep going even when things get tough.
More than education, it’s about energy, motivation, and making sure every student feels seen and supported.

Yesterday was Ciara’s last day in the Wings Program at Phase 4! 🎉
We want to thank Ciara for being a part of the program and bringing positivity, growth, and great energy each day. It’s been amazing watching her learn new skills, build confidence, and continue pushing toward her goals.
We’re proud of everything she accomplished during her time with us and can’t wait to see what’s next for her journey. Once part of the Phase 4 family, always part of the family! 💙✨

Last week at Phase 4, we were excited to welcome Cassie from APRI for an informative presentation about their FREE trades training program! 🔧🏗️⚡️
Students had the opportunity to learn about hands-on career pathways, workforce development opportunities, and how skilled trades can open doors to successful futures. Programs like these help empower young people with real-world skills, mentorship, and positive career options right here in our community.
Big thanks to Cassie and APRI for pouring into the next generation and helping our students explore new opportunities beyond the classroom. 💪🏾

💄✂️ Empire Beauty School Visit
Last Thursday, students traveled from West Mifflin’s Empire Beauty School location to Baldwin for a hands-on experience in cosmetology, beauty, and career exploration.
The visit gave students a chance to learn, create, and see real pathways in the beauty industry while being exposed to new opportunities beyond the classroom. 💇🏽♀️💅🏽✨

💻🎬 Geek Squad Academy at Obama & Westinghouse
Last Wednesday and Thursday, students in our Fresh Film Program joined Geek Squad Academy and Best Buy for two days of hands-on workshops in photography, music production, animation, robotics, and tech.
Professionals from across the country came together to inspire students through creativity, technology, and positive opportunities that help keep youth engaged and away from violence. 🚀🤖🎧
