It’s World Breastfeeding Week, a worldwide effort to increase awareness of the benefits of breastfeeding and remove barriers to breastfeeding. Even though breastfeeding offers immense benefits to young children and new mothers, there are barriers that prevent women from breastfeeding as long as they would like, barriers that we can and should come together to remove.
