The Parent Education and Advocacy Leadership (PEAL) Center empowers families and youth with disabilities and complex healthcare needs all across Pennsylvania.

Parent Education & Advocacy Leadership Center serves the statewide Pennsylvania community to prepare youth with disabilities to lead active lives and participate as full members of their schools and communities.

In observance of Juneteenth, PEAL Center offices will be closed on Friday, June 19. Regular office hours will resume on Monday, June 22.

We encourage families and community members to honor the day by participating in local celebrations, including the Western Pennsylvania Juneteenth Celebration in Pittsburgh and the Juneteenth Parade & Festival in Philadelphia.

🎉 Disability Pride Philly is THIS SATURDAY! 🎉

Join us as we celebrate disability culture, community, and pride at Philadelphia's largest disability-led celebration.

📅 Saturday, June 13
⏰ 12 PM – 4 PM
📍 1600–1800 Benjamin Franklin Parkway

The march kicks off at 11:30 AM from City Hall North Apron and heads to the Parkway for an afternoon of live entertainment, community organizations, vendors, accessible activities, and connection.

With ASL interpretation, a sensory space, accessible restrooms, and more, we're creating a celebration where everyone belongs. A complete list of access provided is on our website.
