Sorry I haven’t posted much in a long time, I didn’t step away. Just took a break due to some surgeries, but they topped off my oil and kicked the tires and I should be good to go. The Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium with a 4 year old tested my endurance today and even though I’m exhausted, I physically feel pretty good.

I’m on vacation this week and have a new filter to test out heading this way, so look for new content soon!

The Mon Valley, the place where I grew up and still live to this day. I’ve seen these train movements probably a million times, but the grit and grime of the industrial river life, the sleepy towns along the railroad, and black diamonds constantly moving up and down the Monongahela River will never get old. Great day out watching trains with the little one, I hope she feels the same way about it and is proud of the valley when she grows up.

Good morning from the Mon Valley, it’s my favorite time of the year….the doom and gloom of stick season. Fits my style to perfection.

N22 heads south through Monongahela on the NS Mon Line, destined for coal country of Southwest Pennsylvania.
