Congratulations to our VP of Operations, Maisha Sturdivant, on being named a 2025-2026 Pennsylvania STEM Workforce Ambassador.

Five leaders were chosen to champion career-connected STEM learning across Pennsylvania’s out-of-school time community as part of the PSAYDN STEM Workforce Ambassador Cohort.

Maisha’s career in healthcare technology taught her something she now works to ensure for thousands of young people: access to STEM changes everything. She represented the Energy sector, participated in professional learning, developed career-connected learning resources, and advocated to strengthen STEM education in out-of-school time programs.

On September 24, STEM Coding Lab is bringing together leaders from education, government, technology, and industry for the Pittsburgh Future Workforce Summit, a conversation about what it takes to build a stronger workforce pipeline for the next generation.

We are proud to be a recipient of a grant from Jefferson Regional Foundation. This incredibly generous gift will fund 75% of the total cost of providing year-long in-school CS/AI/STEM education for all students in the Duquesne City School District.

These fall and spring programs focus on core concepts aligned with the PA Science, Technology & Engineering, and Environmental Literacy & Sustainability (STEELS) academic standards and are delivered through experiential, in-person learning that emphasizes CS fundamentals, robotics, web design, app design, game design, and AI.

It's National Summer Learning Week, an annual nationwide celebration of summer learning and the programs and partners helping young people learn, grow, and thrive all summer long.

In our CS Explorers summer camp, students learn coding, build robots, and solve problems. Every lesson is proof that summer learning keeps kids engaged, curious, and ready to succeed when they head back to school.

This summer, our students will be busy doing in person experiential learning in a fun and engaging way elevating their interest in technology realted future careers. You get to show them where that passion can take them professionally.
