STEM Coding Lab

The day is finally here! Tonight, Pittsburgh's top corporations and community leaders will come together for one conversation: how do we prepare the next generation for the future workforce?

The Pittsburgh Future Workforce Summit is tonight from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at Bakery Square. It will be an evening of cocktails and conversation with the leaders of top corporations and Pennsylvania constituents. Together, we will discuss why K-8 CS, AI, and STEM education is critical to the future of our workforce and our region.

We're excited to see you there!

This summer, SCL brought coding, robotics, and AI learning directly to students who might not otherwise have had the chance. Our summer camps at Pitt CEC in the Hill District gave students a chance to build robotics, coding, and problem-solving skills. A week of STEM education can do a lot for a young mind.

We are one week away from The Pittsburgh Future Workforce Summit - next Thursday, September 24 at the Experience Center at Bakery Square and there are only 15 spots left!

If you work in education, government, corporate leadership, or workforce development, this conversation is for you. It's a chance to connect with peers across sectors who are tackling the same questions from different angles.

Fill out this google form to reserve your spot by Friday. We'd love to see you there! https://lnkd.in/eT4xPdhE

This summer, our campers built robots, wrote their first lines of code, and discovered what they're capable of. This is what learning looks like when it's hands-on, creative, and a little bit messy in the best way. Thanks for having us Best of the Batch Foundation!

Every great conversation needs the right person guiding it. That's why we're pleased to have Marie Pelloni, Senior Director of Talent and Workforce Development at the Pittsburgh Technology Council, moderate the Pittsburgh Future Workforce Summit on September 24th.

Marie works daily with the employers and educators shaping our region's talent pipeline, giving her a front-row seat to the challenges and opportunities facing Pittsburgh's tech workforce. She'll lead leaders in education, government, technology, and industry as they explore what it takes to build a strong future workforce.
