The cuboid bone of the foot is notorious for creating a loss of hip support when not moving properly. It tends to shut down the TFL muscle, resulting in a collapsing in at the knee and hip as well as a dropping of the arch.

Sharing this from another MFR therapist 🦋🦋🦋As a retired MFR therapist for the past 10 years, I want newbies to know that everything you learn about MFR never goes away and will be your best tool as you age.
Last week I had my 4-month check-up with my surgeon who performed my partial knee replacement. As he looked at my incision scar, he said it looked nice. Then he poked at the outside of my knee and said it would be numb because he had to cut a couple of nerves here (pointing medial of center). I responded that I had no numbness. You should have seen the look on his face!
My friend with two total knee replacements keeps saying she has never seen anyone heal the way I have. Needless to say, my hands were on my knee/leg many, many hours a day, especially those first few weeks.
So I thank you, John, and all of your incredible teacher-therapists. I checked in a few times with my favorite therapist, Chino, before and after surgery who helped me immensely along this healing journey.
