To all house call groomers, in case no one told you today, I want you to know that you are doing amazing work every day despite the traffic, the environment / household that we have to work in every day no matter the client’s house cleanliness level or how many stairs we need to climb to send our grooming tables and tool up their house.

You’re doing your best and you’re doing a good job.

Don’t feel bad about charging your worth.

I had a terrible start of the day grooming at one of the luxury serviced residence today (they’re out of visitor parking and I’m facing difficulties moving my grooming table up to condominiums to groom the dogs) and life is not easy, but we do our best each day.

I almost want to give up this career today and cried. But I chose to go back home early to rest.
